They've got small bushy ones in Aldi. That's how the Germans like them.
Time to blow the dust off the artificial plastic one in the shed. It doesn't get much use.
Does it need attaching somehow? A strap?
A good blow will clear it right up.
I wouldn't want any accidents if it fell. Which was obviously and completely exactly what I was alluding to and nothing else. Honest Guv.
Apparently there's an Arabic device..
Lidl have a new style of bushy in... bit neater... trimmed... Brazilian don't-cha-know
Fashions change. It's not the 70s.
Is in Lidl
Somebody put one up already in our Lidl entrance passage, for everybody's pleasure, although frustratingly it does block your view of the baked goods.
We have an artificial one after having problems with baldness and premature dropping. Erection is no problem - I can manage it with one hand - but getting it back in its box afterwards can be tricky.
Ours went in through the front last year but we're doing it in the rear of the house this December, so the back passage will be used for the first time in the 36 years that we've lived here.
Too right-never say never...
We don't need a big one any more as the kids aren't around this year to appreciate it, so it'll be a small one - more of a token gesture really - but it will still be fun to see my brother and Mr Bilongame (not the same person) trying to get it up after getting back from the pub on Christmas Eve. Me? I'd just settle for having the fairy instead.
Far too many premature erections!
Hurrah - sense! What is this nonsense abut trees going up in November or the first of December - it's not Christmas!
Ours shall go up no earlier than the 16th and stay up until Epiphany, thereby covering the 12 days of Christmas!
MrF has a friend who wants to get hers up soon and every year she asks when we're doing ours. When told she said "i bet it comes down on Boxing Day' When MrF said 'no, 6th Jan' she replied 'Oh, Christmas then?' Yes!
Wait... this is about trees?
Mr F can't get it up for long, then?
One year we couldn’t find the base for ours, so it was quite unstable and kept falling. We resolved this by tying it to a curtain pole.
