What was the chance of a life time for you?

We keep hearing all this cheesy hype about how it's the chance of a lifetime to stand in a crowd watching someone run by with a torch, or to pay more than 2K for a ticket to see the O opening ceremony. What do think was the chance of your life time? Or are you still waiting for it?

I do think that seeing an Olympic event is a once in a lifetime thing rather than the chance of my lifetime. My mum very kindly bought us some tickets so we will be seeing judo and the football semi final at Wembley. I've very excited.
When I was about 20 I had the chance to buy a one bed flat for £12,000. It would have meant leaving home and my parents persuaded me not to. About six months later these flats were selling for £50,000. Chance of a lifetime? Maybe.
