What to spend money on for a KS2 science room. Any ideas?

You could look through this list of recommended equipment and resources needed to teach KS1 and KS2 effectively and see if there are any items mentioned that you haven't got:
    http://www.education.herefordshire.gov.uk/DOCS/Pri_sci_equip.pdf
But ideally, you ought to start by considering what investigations you already do/would like to do with the children and make sure that these are fully resourced - no point in spending lots of money on equipment that you are not going to make full use of.
But if you want suggestions ...
A decibel sound meter is great for when you teach sound/muffling sound - a good quality one of these would be useful!

  2. Thanks for the suggestions.
