What things can I do during school placement which will help me get a job?

  1. I wouldn't worry about the lack of music or sport activities. You say that you're interested in charities - so describe what charity work you have done in the last 12 months. Developing pupils socially - does this mean you're involved in Scouting or Guiding or something else you can talk about? In terms of the green and Fair Trade issues I would word that as wanting to get involved with supporting extra-curricular activities rather than "making children/schools more aware" which doesn't sound great.
