What shoes for this dress?

I have bought this dress and it looks really nice - much nicer in hand than in the picture.

    Couldn't insert picture, sorry.

I have no idea what shoes may go - I have horribly short legs, so don't want anything that will make them look shorter, and I also have problems with my balance, so heels are out.

Anyone have any ideas for shoes that may go? Looking to spend as little as possible - it's a really expensive month.

Hmm. Is the link working for you? Had to edit it at first as picture didn't show, so put link in.

No, the link takes me to an error page. :((

I googled Joe Brown's Carnival Dress, but it came up with a few different ones.

Right click on the image. Save as image address. Check that ends with .jpg. If it ends with a number then it won't work. In rich formatting (see by Reply button) look for icon that allows you to post an image. Choose From Web (not from My Computer). Paste the .jpg and it ought to appear.

Hmm, makes me think Kaleidoscope have found a way to stop me copying their images.

I like the silver shoes best!

Is this the dress? Can you see it?

Yey! That is the dress indeed kittylion. Thank you for all your help, and that's just for posting the picture!

The dress looks lovely on, much nicer than the picture. Okay, shoe suggestions, let me look back.

The Asos silver shoes are a possibility - would never never have thought of shoes like that, far too sparkly, but they may be just the ticket! Balance wise should be fine too, they are quite wide.

Will keep looking because I suspect I will bottle it, but will certainly have a look - next stupid question, is asos online or shop/both?

I think the dress looks lovely Dt - I only wish they did it in my size (sigh).

Tap shoes. Definitely tap shoes with a frock like that.

Dukeofyork, if I was a size 8, perhaps. However, clogs would be more fitting I think, as that is what tap shoes would sound like :)

    Thanks grumpydogwoman.

Kittylion, it was a close run thing for me - but thank you. I am pleased with it which is no mean feat at the moment. Even when I am at my slimmest, which I am currently not, I have an unflattering body shape, with a long body, short legs (I have to take up 'short' trousers, and crops look like trousers that are just too short), somewhat made worse by being strong muscular legs, (walking and physio and natural shape), fat which collects nowhere apart from my stomach, and I'm not really pretty in any way shape or form. Consequently I have never been interested in clothes - spending a day looking in the mirror to see how badly clothes fit is not my idea of fun. Now however, I am in a grief-reaction of life is too short sort of thing, and think *** it. I am going to wear clothes I like, and if you don't like it, don't look.

I have bought loads of different clothes over the past few months, love the quirky nature of joe browns. DO they do a plus size quirky line anywhere?
