what piece(s) of tech could your department not do without?

    I'm looking into the resources our department currently has with a view to spending our budget and i'm not sure where to even start. We have quite a bit of kit, but not sure what i would buy with the remainder of the money.

    Was wondering if there was a piece of Hardware/Software that you would recommend and how you use it in class.

    The single most useful thing I ever bought was a multi-disc copier - one master tray and 9 copier trays. Great for multimedia files that would otherwise jam up the network or overload their user accounts. Also good for handing out HW and revision material that for one reason or other you might want to keep off the VLE. Furthermore, it meant you could give each child a video to watch when they were ready rather than showing the whole class at once.
