What online careers support would be useful presently?

Discussion in 'Welcome lounge and forum help' started by AllyGeeGee, Mar 20, 2020.

  1. I work for a small social enterprise which offers external one to one guidance appointments and careers talks including interview skills, CV writing skills, transferrable skills sessions and apprenticeship talks. We are looking at what we could offer to students who are being supported online with their learning during these difficult times. My gut feeling at present would be self awareness, building resilience and mental health advice, with general career decision-making as online webinars, but with the option to have Skype or Zoom one to ones. It is all in the air as the economy is in a very difficult position right now and will be very different when this all passes, so current LMI will have changed too. We are also looking at using our employer contacts to link up Year 11 and Year 13 leavers remotely as a job match service.

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas please?

    Best wishes to you all
