How many paid days holiday do you get as a TA ?
Paid for 39 weeks a year... plus?
In my LA 25 days pro rata rising to 30 days after five years service.
4 weeks pro rata I think.
I've been trying to work this out too.
I know it's 5.6 weeks for full time, 52 week a year employment, but I'm still confused.
I'm trying to work out my hourly pay- the Council will only provide the actual wage which says 39 week on my contract but surely everyone is entitled to paid leave ( I realise it's not for all school holidays).
As far as I know with a term time contract you do not get any paid holidays. I do not I have a term time only contract and get the 8 bank holis but as most of them are in the holis tha tis about it. So I am not sure, but with full time staff, it is 20 days plus bank holis, rising to 25 after 5 years service, if I was to be full time I would be on 30 days plus 8 as I have been there so long.
