What is the reduction in fees for a teacher sending their child to their school??

  1. I did a PGCE placement at my school. I then decided that a) I wanted my son to go to the school, and b) that I wanted a job there. He went a couple of years later and 5 years later I got a job there. I got a 66% remission in my first year of teaching there, and then it went to 85%. I think they are looking to change it to 50% for new staff though. I think 85% is the most the Tax man will let you have without paying more, in this country.
