What is Digital Literacy?

    There has been lots and lots of discussion here about Computer Science but little, so far on what Gove would like us all to be teaching and what the pupils will be learning when it comes to Digital Literacy.
    I've researched a variety of different approaches to what this might mean but I am struggling to find a definition that can be translated into something tangible that can be taught in a curriculum.
    I would like to hear what others think Digital Literacy means and ways that the skills can be taught or learned, not only in IT lessons but in all subjects at all ages.
