What is a duty team?

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by Somelikeithot, Apr 4, 2012.

  1. Hello
I'm applying for a post and part of the job is to 'take part in duty teams as required.' Does anyone know what a duty team is? I've been teaching for a number of years so there is a chance that I have experienced being part of a duty team (but it could have been called something else) and thus can refer to it in my personal statement. Please help. Deadline is Friday!
    Thanks : )

  2. It just means playground supervision, or canteen/corridors at break times. I have been in duty "teams" - it's just one "team" is on a Wednesday and so on [IMG]
  3. A-ha! Yes I have definately done that! Thanks so much for clarifying.

I agree this refers to 'being on duty' before school, playtimes, lunch and after school bus duties, for referral for children sent out of class etc.
