For The last 5 months. I filled my time making art and eating.
I have been eating, walking a lot, watching black and white films and listening to heavy metal.
Doing mining investigations (which is my main job) which has been flat out. Working on a building site as well.
I need to build a war chest for when the crash comes.
Filled the time well then.
Maybe quit the classroom chap. You've other income and you don't seem to like it. I would if I easily could.
I love teaching. I find some of my contracted colleagues lazy and entitled.
This combined with the unions will be why we don't go back. They need to stop shirking and crack on.
We're headed back come hell or high water.
I started a medium term 2 day per week gig the week before lockdown. However the school kept me on teaching the key worker kids one or two days per week and then for the last 4 weeks of tern 4 days per week. So pretty good really.
I was a HOD Science replacement prior to CV19. Was there a few months. (Didn't want the job, but mining was quiet and it was too good to turn down). Anyway, I was assured that ALL STAFF WILL BE PAID PER YOUR ARRANGEMENTS. I was booked until the summer.
Anyway, I got binned like superted. Utterly binned.
All of my staffroom pals are on full pay at home. Nice!
The set work was basically putting the science folders on google classroom. You could do a month in about 20 minutes.
"Hard at work"
Well. I did this
Beats teaching. Doesn't pay well though
