What happens to my pension if I leave teaching?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by kittenface69, May 27, 2012.

  1. Hello all,
Just wondered if anyone knows what happens to your pension if you leave teaching. Does it just stay dormant until you can claim it at retirement? Think I read somewhere that you can get monies paid back (your own contributions only obviously). If anyone has any knowledge/experience of this , would be interesting to know.
    Thanks !
