How do you all organise your days? How long are your child initiated sessions and teacher directed sessions? How many do you do in a day? Do you make sure you cover PSRN and CLL every day or do you concentrate on different things?

  2. My day (not by choice can I say first: Looks more like Year 1 than reception but here goes)

8.50: children in, CIL for 5 mins. register on carpet.
    9.00: Assembly
9.20: Whole class carpet ( numeracy)
9.30: Numeracy group work activities and CIL
    10.00: Snack time
    10.10 CIL and hearing readers
    10.20 Phonics
    10.30 Play time
10.50 Whole class carpet ( Literacy)
11.05 Literacy group work, CIL, readers
    11.45 Storytime before lunch
1.15 Register & afternoon carpet time
1.30 ICT, PE, KUOW etc plus readers etc
    2.55 Story
    3.15 home time
In my opinion, not enough CIL and FAR too much carpet time but its how I have to do it at the mo as it's a job share and she is FS leader!!!
