What does governements response to the Wold report mean now?

Discussion in 'Further Education' started by shirtandtie, May 13, 2011.

  1. Perhaps you mean the Wolf report?
You can always apply. But unless it is for shortage subject like Maths or an unusual subject like Pyschology then I don't fancy your chances. This is because you will be competing against many other candidates who have QTS. There may be theoretical parity between QTLS and QTS, but candidates with the latter can demostrate they met the GTC requirements for a competent school teacher.
    Who would you shortlist?
