Just wondering! I teach RE, Citizenship and Understanding the world across a whole primary school.

Is this part time job through choice or haven't you been able to secure a full time class teacher position. I notice that you are a new poster so may be unaware of the help available on the Jobseekers forum.

The subject, not the people. Or not many of them...

    Today I taught:

A 3-year-old to get off my lap and ask to go to the toilet BEFORE weeing all down my skirt

To class of 31 11 and 12 year-olds the different pronunciations of past tense ending in -ed depending on preceding sounds.

A hand-patting and chanting game to a group of 6 year-olds at break time.

Had a great day in fact. Especially as don't have to wash my skirt before tomorroe.

    Best wishes

    Understanding The World!

Gosh. Can you explain it to ME, please. I am 60 and I have to admit I'm all at sea.

I'd have to dig out my CV to remind myself how many different high school subjects I taught before retiring, but since retiring I teach only what I want to teach.
