What are the chances of getting pregnant after missing one pill?

I had unprotected sex on Friday at around 5pm and missed my usual combined pill that night. I made up for it on Saturday (today) as soon as I realised, this was around 2pm. I had taken my pill at the usual time the night before (Thursday 10pm). I am planning on taking my pill at my usual time of 10pm tonight. This is my first week back on the pill after having seven days of inactive pills (I had my period last week). Friday was my seventh day back on the pill, therefore prior to having sex, I had only taken the pill 6 nights in a row. What are the chances of becoming pregnant due to this missed/late pill? I have been on the pill for close to three years now.

Have you spoken to either your GP or local pharmacist?

That said, it depends on your ovulation cycle. Traditionally on a 28 day cycle, you tend to be most fertile 14 days after the first day of your period (obviously, you can be fertile around 12-15 days not just day 14). If you suffer from PCOS, then your cycles are all over the place (I got pregnant on a day 12 (unknown length of cycle, previous month was the classic 28 days but prior to that, it ranged from 22-44 days (new medication started). Your pill gives an artificial cycle....

You could see the chemist today about the morning after pill as it appears you are within the 48 hour rule....

Sorry that I can't offer any more concrete advice....

Don't they say that within 12 hours it should be fine?
I would check with pharmacist to be safe :)
