What are my chances?!

  1. Hi all -
I'd be grateful for your take on my situation ... I was a PGCE-qualified English teacher (with a BA and an MA in English) for 19 years straight (11-18 state secondaries; last 5 years as HoD), before taking a 3-year career break. I did an LLB degree, which I completed this year with first class honours, and 3 end-of-course prizes/citations. I've been doing a taught LLM since October, but have decided that, for various reasons, I want to go back to teaching. I'm 49, and wondering if I'm being realistic ... Any constructive advice gratefully received. [IMG]
