I love The Cure too, but it never worked for me [IMG]
I thought all their albums were amazing and Kiss me Kiss Me Kiss Me holds fondant memories especially, but for me their all time best is 17 Seconds. Loved Souixie too, not so much now. What about Julian Cope, Cocteau Twins, Southern Death Cult, Pixies?
  14. I used to be a fan of The Cure in the 80s. My favourite album by them was The Head on the Door from about 1985 or 86, and especially the song 'Inbetween Days' I also liked their earlier albums, and especially the song 'Boys don't cry'. The last album I heard by them was the one they did around 1988 which was a pretty melancholic one. I used to listen to indie music in the 80s, and the bands mostly had really silly names, like The Mighty Lemon Drops. My all time favourite was The Jesus and Mary Chain, whose songs were either all guitar feedback, or really sweet jangly guitars - their first album was incredible - Psychocandy. I used to like early New Order and early Echo and the Bunnymen too in the 80s.
