Welsh/enterprise week

Discussion in 'Cymru - education news' started by GemmaHunt1, Feb 6, 2011.

  1. As St David's day is during the first week back after half term, we are having a 'Welsh week' in school, which has this year been amalgamated with enterprise week. I am struggling to think of any ideas for a year 2 class to make that will be cheap, easy and more importantly something that people will actually want to buy!! Any ideas will be very welcome; if they have a Welsh theme then all the better! Thank you!

  3. We will be purchasing a bulk lot of red socks to make red dragon sock puppets with.
Other ideas - bookmarks, baking welsh cakes or bara brith, daffodil windmills, picture frames of coloured celtic patterns...
