It was looking at you in the wrong way.

I had a good day today. We were doing role play all day then at 3:30pm our mentors surprised us by saying that we were now going to take live calls. Cue heart palpitations. I spoke to two real people and really enjoyed it.

    More tomorrow.

Good technique not to inform you ahead of time. One might think your tutor had trained in teaching! ;)

Forgot to say happy pancake day everyone.

Here is a joke to celebrate it.

I had to steal something to stir my pancake batter with...

But it was a whisk I was willing to take.

I’ve knitted three blankets and five hats since the new year. A stash is growing.

    Morning

Thanks, Jesmond. Good luck for today. You sound well prepared.

I didn’t have any pancakes. Mr ST bought some hot cross buns. That’s just wrong.

We didn't have pancakes. I don't enjoy them if I have to make them myself.

I am on a train into work. Every other road near work and home is closed due to flooding. Our local Facebook page reports a sofa floating down the street :(. Poor people flooding twice in two weeks. It peaks tomorrow morning. I wasn't risking getting stuck at work! I am pleased to live most of the way up a hill.

    Morning.

No flooding here but they're forecasting snow for tonight!

    Hope everyone stays safe x

A light smattering of snow where we live but now at work and nothing here at all. I decided to pay £4.50 and park right outside of the office instead of parking 10minutes away.

I need to go and collect Mrs J from the hospital after work so that’s my excuse.

Take care those of you in flood hit areas.

Eek Bombay, that sounds a bit close for comfort, though if it's a big hill, hopefully your home will escape any flooding. Hopefully the school itself isn't in any danger.

Wishing you a good day Jesmond.

Keep safe everyone with all the weather and possible health problems at this time of year.

    Morning.
We had a now flurries here last night, but there is no sign this morning. Sunshine and bright blue sky here instead. :)

Morning. Snow flurries yesterday, but nothing yet today.
Good luck today, Jes., though you'll be well into it by now.

The tarmac men are opposite the house filling in the big hole the water men made. The water pipes were always bursting so they're lining them or something like that. Big holes dug all along the road. Now that's a job that I wouldn't like in this weather. Brrrr.

A man has just put his ear defenders on so I guess they're doing the noisier bit now.
    Yup.
