Guess it's just me and Jesmond off to work today.
swings and roundabouts @gargs. Right now I'm sitting in bed and you are off to work. Overall, I wish I had your job . Still, right now you have my sympathy
Its raining hard here
Dry here and not too windy.
Sympathies to the workers. I’m off out to meet a friend later.
Half term = no traffic Have a good day Gargs.
And everyone else of course.
Morning all. I’ve got a busy day: dentists, eyebrow wax, coffee with friends, then housework for a couple of hours and sit down and rest. My energy doesn’t last that long at the moment.
That young doctor is a bit odd on Call the Midwife.
Seems your new job has inspired a new avatar @Jesmond12 ! Is that you chuckling now you no longer have to face the classroom, or wait for that cal which generally doesn't come?
There's actually a burst of sunshine on the curtains at the moment, but commiserations to any coping with traffic problems as a result of the weather.
Thank you GP. It looks bright our today. It was windy in the wee hours but that has calmed down now.
I would have trouble getting in and out of work today due to flooding. Good job I am off.
Time for a dance through the mud with the dogs! Have a fun day all.
The bad weather was just rain here. No idea what Gatwick was like but South Wales appears to have got the worst.
But that's why I'm not in charge of these decisions.
*insert confused expression here*
So it's a lovely clear blue sky day here.
So we shall head off to Kent.
Bet it's raining.
The sun has broken through.
I’m going to dry my sheets on the line today!
If I put mine out I may well find them in my neighbour's garden. Though it's changed from fine to throwing it down to blue skies and sunshine within the past hour, so won't risk washing outside today anyway.
He's addicted to pethidine, OTH.
I do wish there was a cure for insomnia.
Sorry to hear you're still suffering.
Mine currently goes in waves - about 3 -4 night and then I'm so exhausted I sleep through for 2. Then the cycle restarts. I'm over-compensating again by not going to bed till gone midnight to cut down the number of wake ups.
The lane into work - that's the Trent and I'm the one with the headlights, The car in the water was abandoned.
Not sure if the pic shows though. I'm sure you'll tell me if it doesn't.
