I have to be very strict when I have bouts of insomnia. I aways make sure, that no matter how little sleep I may have had, I get up at 7.30 in the morning. If work schedule will allow, I let myself have a 45 min ziz but never after 4pm.

After a few nights of poor sleep I become one of the walking dead.

Early in the term for that. Precurser of a cold? Commiserations anyway.

You mean you're falling asleep? That's what I find these cold, dark evenings I tend to feel it's later than it is and tend to get sleepy and then am suddenly wide awake when I need to sleep!

EMILY! :D Yay! :D Good to see you've been busy whilst not posting. Us 'retirees' can all too easily forget how busy one gets. :p
And a house move to boot? No wonder you're all upside down. But I know house moves take ages to actually progress to completion and it can't be easy to plan that to land in holidays. Nes job, bigger house or just a 'better area'. I remember you were thinking about moving within the locality last year, but presumably those houses you were looking at had gone by the time you'd got a sale.

Getting much work this time of year Spirit? Presumably it all has to be indoors?

Hello, Emily. Good to see you. How goes the fantasy football? Edit: I see you’ve been over to that thread to comment.

Stay warm indoors, spirit, while you can.

Sorry you’ve got a poorly voice, Lan. Well done for the likes. Is it a record?

Waking up with the central heating not working was not a good start.

Off to the blood donors after work today. Tea and mini cheddars afterwards - yum!

    Hello Emily.

Good grief! What did that do to your sock regime?
    Hope the heating's sorted soon.
    Happy Friday, everyone.

    Oh it's raining. :(
