You surprise me...
Sounds like hard work. I’m sure he was grateful.
Definitely. It’s dark after all.
Whereas, by pure chance, just because it followed the news, we're watching a fascinating programme Titanic - the new evidence, about the role a fire might have played in the sinking. Mr L has crept round to watch.
Our tree and decorations are still in the loft. I suppose that they had better come down tomorrow.
I still think it’s quite early. I’m considering leaving it to next weekend.
So are ours and there they'll stay till just before Christmas.
Is it just me or do more people seem to be putting up their decorations earlier.
Definitely not just you.
The decorations do seem earlier this year. Mr F has put lights outside, but the tree will be next weekend. I need to finish writing cards tomorrow, so I can post them on Monday.
People can put them up whenever they fancy it... just saying...
Mrslan now sharing pics of our tree in various WhatsApp groups... I think she is chuffed with her work.
Morning. I have to get up. I want to stay in bed.
Our tree went up on this weekend last year but this year I'm leaving it a bit longer.
We always used to wait until Christmas Eve but it has crept forward to the weekend before Christmas (usually).
I don't always bother with a tree.
There's often nobody here on Christmas Day to enjoy it.
I didn't get dressed yesterday either
I can't imagine not getting dressed all day - unless I was very ill and staying in bed.
I seem to be surrounded by 'stuff' again. Might have to do the decluttering challenge again in January.
The tree and decorations can stay where they are for the moment. I have just been cleaning the sofa as we have donated it to a charity furniture shop before a new one arrives before Christmas (hopefully). It is being collected next week.
We have a carpet cleaner which has an upholstery attachment and the amount of dirt that came off was unbelievable.
Thought for the day:
Are you just going to sit there all day?”
“No! Now and then I’ll be walking to the kettle and back”
