Here on the Career Clinic you can get advice and support on what direction you should be taking with your career, and having decided that, what steps to take to achieve the next step of the ladder.

I shall look on here regularly, although it wouldn't hurt to include my tag in your query. @TheoGriff

If your query relates specifically to getting a new job - or even a first one - you may prefer to post not on here but on the JobSeekers Forum where there is specialist advice on job searches, applications, interviews, how to accept a job, how to resign, etc.

Looking forward to helping you to success!

    Dear Theo
I am unqualified primary school teacher with three years experience across two key stages. I have recently been 'demoted' to an HLTA position due to circumstances beyond my control. Problem is I have taken a major cut in salary and I was about to complete my final skills test before applying to take the AO route into teaching. I am thinking of applying to another school but what are my chances realistically?

    Thanks

@Masher - you need to start a thread with this, not tag on the end of an introduction, so that it will be seen properly.

Go back to the forum and then click on the blue Start New Thread. That will get it going for you.

    Best wishes
