Watch a fellow Brit destroy Trump ...

You may note our US election thread, but I am hoping that those of you might want to watch one of the finest pieces of journalism in the American media by your own John Oliver. His HBO programme is in its 3rd 'season' and is considered by many to be one of the best examples of investigative journalism (he previously interviewed Edward Snowden at length, etc)....

Im not sure a Brit will convince Trumps supporters to support someone else.

Amazingly clever. Sadly no redneck in the USA is ever going to see it.

I thought this was going to be about Boris beating Trump in the race for silly hair.

I like Boris's hair. It shows he doesn't really care. He's comfortable with it.

Trump's is godawful. It shows exactly how vain he is... probably half the reason he's so angry about everything.

Liked the video by the way @sabrinakat Would have loved to see what Bill Hicks would have had to say about Donald, or Hunter S Thompson for that matter.

All Trump did was tell the truth about things you didn't want to hear. Hate him as much as you want, it doesn't alter those truths. At least they are now coming out. I hope he does become president.

    What 'truths'?

How on Earth do you get that from the video? The whole point, at which they succeeded, was to show what a liar Trump (or more correctly Drumpf) is.

BTW what is Boris's real name. Not "Johnson".

A draft-dodging, racist, sexist, disabled mocking, serial lying, serially failing businessman who pulled his wife's hair out in clumps (although she changed her mind about the rape allegation) wouldn't be my first choice.

    Takes all sorts I guess.

    What truth?

Perhaps you should actually watch the video to see the reality of Trump's lies about himself.

Looking forward to John's follow up piece on Hillary. When's it on? Is it after or before the one on Bernie?

You don't think the US right wing media has enough on Clinton?

Don't ask me, ask John Oliver. I'm sure he wants to be fair.
  19. lanokia

No, he wants to do a comedy programme that satirises targets, in this case one of the most hypocritical that is in desperate need of being skewered.... the notion of 'fair' applies to news. And even then it's laughable in the USA. Fox News anyone? Or any other facet of the corporate media?

Do people who reference Fox News ever watch it? Just wondering.

And ' need of being skewered'? I suppose the main reason for Trump's success is how easy the media have gone on him. I've hardly seen any criticism at all.
