    Does anyone have a scheme of work and resources for this novel that they would be willing to share?

  2. Hi, The National Theatre have a scheme of work which we adapted last year, which you'll find on their website. We also linked it with some First World War poetry, which worked very well.

    We produced a large educational website with a range of resources and interactivity, including an interview with Michael Morpurgo. The site explores the process of adapting the novel for the big screen and includes clips from this year's film version. All free to access on our site:

    There are also sections suitable for history and a couple of activities for KS2. Hope this helps.
