Oi! Marcin Princess TV! Yes, you there, loitering about, looking for some more mugs that you can make look like complete pillocks at very little cost!
Here's an idea: why not make a bit of quality tv for a change? Commission a new drama, perhaps. Or some innovative new comedy.
It's not as if there aren't plenty of writers out there with good stuff to sell - is it?

I have never before wished I was a teacher.

Princess - will you be doing a sequel using builders with a game leg?

I saw a teacher once on How Clean Is Your House?
And couldn't understand why teachers would subject themselves to ridicule from pupils and parents by exposing their flaws and faults on TV.
I have the same response to this.
I don't consider it good entertainment - but more to the point it is going to do nothing to help the students see me as a professional to be respected.

I couldn't agree more. The 'How Clean is Your House?' thing leaves me breathless - everyone on there has me shouting, 'You dirty bugger!' at the TV, so it's not exactly going to help you with regard to pupils' and parents' attitudes, is it?

Why not just make some actual entertainment?

That was also my point, Jacob. Make something of quality for a change.

I assume from the removal of my earlier post that it's suddenly become a crime to criticise the producers of 'talent' shows for the lack of quality and originality in their handiwork. Ho hum.
