Thank you for clarifying @marlin.
Pre-moderated users should not have this permission so I can only assume that I have to revoke it. Do you mind if I do that now @Rott Weiler
Quoting from an earlier RW post
Did you get an alert @Rott Weiler ?
It let me edit for 5 minutes.
Immediately after I took that screen clip I tried to edit again and got this
I assume this quote is from a message awaiting moderation
I can see the quote!
When I click the arrow I see this message
I'm just going away from the computer for a short while to make a cuppa. Tea anyone?
@marlin Yes it's from a post still under moderation. Rosaline has replied to it quoting it so everyone can now see it even though the original post is not yet released.
I mentioned I'd received your delayed alerts here

Testing for Edit again
Revoking my Edit permissions seems to work. That time there was no Edit available
Is there anything else you'd like me to do as part of your testing?
Can I post without being moderated now?
@TES_Rosaline I can't see any of RW's messages, posted since the last release, yet.
I'm signing off now. Hope that was useful @TES_Rosaline
Can I post unmoderated yet?
@TES_Rosaline No, I'm still being moderated.
Something we didn't test earlier but I just noticed. If I attempt to quote one of my posts in a reply while still modrated I can't. Neither +Quote nor Reply in the post do anything.
However, I can still +Quote someone else's post when moderated
Hmmm, thank you for letting me know @Rott Weiler and for your help with moderation today.
Can you post now?
I'll have to check the permissions again tomorrow.
@marlin Thank you for your help today. I think we have got through a lot today and yesterday.
I just to resolve an issue with reports.
Can I post unmoderated now?
EDIT Yes, that seems to be back to normal
