Voluntary NQT year

  1. This advice would seem to be contrary to the understanding that I (and James having read his responses) have of the situation.
To try and clear this I called the GTC today and they referred me to the TDA who are the agency that set the rules. I have e-mailed them and will wait for their response. the DfE does not control induction and did not set down the regulations. There is a review of the induction regulations underway so things may change but I would be very surprised if voluntaryt teaching at a school could form part of induction.
