Visual Timetable... can anybody help?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Michy84, Aug 6, 2010.

  1. Hi everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying the break... I still havn't switched off from school and i'm looking for a visual timetable for my Year 3 class.
I have tried to download the KS1 and KS2 versions on ********** but it wont let me as my computer is restricting me from downloading the toolbar!
Does anyone have these, or anything similiar they could email me?
I have also been told to make an individual timetable for a child in my class in September... has anyone already had a go at this?
    Anything would be gratefully received!
    Thanks, Michelle. x

    Hi Michelle,
I have emailed you the visual timetable I used last year for my Y3/4 class. I am pretty sure I got it from the TES resources so I shall try and find it again and link it to give proper credit to the person who made it.

Well said pinkflipflop. Thought most people would have realised by now he's a twice convicted and jailed paedophile though I'm sure some will continue to support his hobby..............

  8. Thanks Singora- the website you have suggested looks fab! I will be getting lots of other things from there too! The floating timetable sounds good- let me know if you remember the link...
    Thanks again! x

  9. Cathy, your turtle timetable is also great!
I'm spoilt for choice! ...Good old TES! x

  10. You are very kind!

  11. Another fab website! Thank you! ....I like the interactive dinner register! x

  12. http://www.******.co.uk/resources/class-management/sen-and-pshe/visual-timetables ............ Or just type ****** into google. Although it says it is KS1 I found a card for all of the areas I wanted. They also look really well made.

  13. I came across ****** as well. Can anybody tell me if there's anything I should know about it? Am nervous as I was out of the education loop for a while and didn't know about the scandal re: ********** until I had started using it! Thanks.

  14. Just don't use it. Some schools are still using old stuff, as it cost so much to print and laminate, but others are banning any use of it at all.

  15. Hi ducksgoquack
I know that alot of people are feeling the same as you in regards to how to trust other educational sites after the ********** scandle.
I thought I would share with you a link to a blog post written by the lovely Linda about both myself (tpet.co.uk) and ******
    http://usefulwiki.com/displays/2010-04-25/alternatives-to-**********-part-1/
The blog just shares abit of general information about our sites and who we are. I think it would be a real shame for ********** to spoil what other websites are trying to do

  16. I really like the Kent one but it doesn't have all of the things I need on my timetable.
The best one that I have found is the interative one on the communication4all website because you can make your own boxes for any activities that are not represented and can move the layout around to suit you...I have got rid of the clock and moved things about to fit everything in that I need!

  17. Hi, I'm fairly new to using this site but neither I nor any of my colleagues have heard of this person, much less that "he's a twice convicted and jailed paedophile". It's quite intimidating and off putting to be labelled with being "not most people".
