Virtual Learning Environments/ Learning platforms in early years?

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by Doodlem, Aug 22, 2012.

  1. My previous school used to use a VLP until they discovered the children could use it as a mini-facebook and instantly took it down (had only been live for 3 weeks - you'd have thought someone would have checked into it a bit more first....)
They were just in the process to changing to 'web anywhere' (i think that what it was called) which was much more early years friendly. But I wasn't invited to the training on it as i was leaving a couple of weeks later so can't really comment on how good it is

  3. Check out MediaCore (http://mediacore.com) - teachers could use this to safely share videos from lessons with children and parents :)
