Videos of pupils

    Is it legal to video examples of pupils' behaviour to provide evidence to an Educational Psychologist?

    Obviously we would follow the usual practice of using a school camera, clips never to leave school.

    All parents sign a general opt in/ out letter for photos/ videos.

    Yes, perfectly legal, and especially safe given the sign-in clause you mention. Even the unions are good with this, as long as they aren't used as evidence performance related evidence (e.g. against you)
