Anyone know of any Youtube videos of a good presentation, and one of a bad presentation? I'm getting pupils to look at what makes a good presentation.

    Thanks!

  3. Depends what kind of presentation, but I always get my classes to look at examples from Dragons Den for tips. Plenty of nervous applicants mucking up their words on there. Or how about The Apprentice? Also, I sometimes use the moderation S&L disc AQA sent us with KS4.

  4. You def need to visit here:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/speaker/
and look at 'Duncan's final speech' here:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/speaker/speakers/duncan/
It's the BBC's Young Speaker of the Year comp, and the winner is a 14 year old who gives a 5 min speech like you wouldn't believe. Lots of good tips on speaking from other recognisable people too, like Ewan Macgregor (sp?).

  5. Ps, my class has a game of 'persuasive technique bingo' while I play his speech.
