Videos in ICT

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by jweb2k, May 15, 2011.

  1. Are there any particular videos you show in ICT - throughout the keystages? I'll start of with the following - you can work out where they're most useful!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxSQ-0FWHNk (How Not to PowerPoint)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0xgjUhEG3U (Big Bang Theory - Friendship Algorithm)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO7hpEy8_Wg (Inventions that Changed the World)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V87I10yMIb4 (PBS Kids: Charts)

It doesn't have to be Youtube - we've bought in videos in the past on recommendation.

  2. Oh, and the "In Plain English" bits from CommonCraft (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqRZGhiHGxg&feature=relmfu). Norton does a similar style for Phishing and Norton 360 - worth a look.
