    I'd say the two you mentioned are fine. It's more important that they can apply the theories to the context than that they know the names of five or six.

    Once again, the important stuff:

    - know that the audience is fragmented and be aware of a system to describe the groups like VALS or Mosaic

    - know about promotion and marketing concepts: AIDA, 4P

    - know the types of promotion (DECCS - direct, editorial, channel circular, channel pop, social)

    - have examples in depth from two campaigns

    - be able to apply one or two other theories: uses and grats, two-step flow
