Using Twitter to create Personal Learning Networks

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by Atari101, Aug 3, 2011.

  1. Does anyone use Twitter to create Personal Learning Networks? In other words does anyone use Twitter as a form of CPD to following people who are of interest or leading the way in a particular field?
Here are a couple of articles about it?

If so who do you follow?

I assume you did a search here? There is a long thread somewhere 'Twitter good or bad'.

Following the right people helps cut through the fluff and shameless self promotion. I have found some very useful resources via Twitter, I am not saying it is some sort of wonder tool but I do find it welll worth keeping an eye on.

  4. Twitter is brilliant if you follow the right people. I have learned a lot...
