using a creative approach to inspire children to write

Discussion in 'English' started by cazabelle, Jun 17, 2011.

  1. Hello,

I have this interview on Monday - only got details this afternoon.
I would like to use a multi media approach - possibly pixar short movies...? And speech.

    Any ideas welcome!
    Thanks

  3. Start with the learning objective, not the resources....

To be fair, the objective is pretty much given to her. But, yes, do make sure that you are focussed on encouraging writing and that your lesson keeps the learning objective in mind. You also need a way of showing that all pupils have made progress. If it's a full lesson, there should be some way of sharing progress in the lesson too.

Multimedia sounds great as it fits the brief of being creative. Do have a plan B in case the technology fails, though.
