Use of ICT in teaching and learning

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by Shehladurjamali, Mar 11, 2012.

  1. I would like someone to share with me if there are barriers that prevent some institutions in being able to embed ICT fully.

    Have a lurk around http://moodle.org
Moodle is a free VLE, there are hosting services a plenty (not so expensive) and the activities work on old crappy PCs OK. Ours are 12 years old!!!
Plenty of like minded teachers in the forums at moodle.org willing to help.
Of course 'experts' who want to sell you a £10K VLE platform will tell you Moodle is unreliable. Funny how so many schools world-wide use it.
    Demo activities at http://manxman.ch/moodle2/
