    Hi,

I am wondering if someone could please advise me. I am currently a secondary teacher in the North West of England on the Upper Pay Scale 2. I have an interview tomorrow for a 6th form college. Having looked at the new pay scale legislation for FE, I am worried they will offer me a much lower wage than I am used to/currently on. I have 8 years experience and an MA and am worried that the pay cut will be in excess of £5000. Is there room for much negotiation? To match my current salary I would need to be on at least P2 of the PSP scale as opposed to the new spine point 6.

    Any advice welcome? Thanks
