I am due to start the role of assistant head in Septemeber and was looking for some advice on what union I should be in. Im currently in the NUT. Is it best for me to stay with them or is it worth changing to the NAHT???

I am an AHT and I joined ASCL on advice from another senior colleague. I have found them good, so far (I've been with them about 1 year). They send out a good weekly email and a good magazine, regularly.

I believe you can only join ASCL if you're in secondary or FE, however.
