uncertainty over future - minimum standards

The FE college I work at has just got 'well below national average' in the government standards published last week. Last year they were 'below average' so things have got worse. I wasn't teaching at the college in the time period that generated these results but I'm worried about the impact.

I think the college was issued with a national minimum standards notice last year so I imagine another one will be on its way. Just surmising though.

Does anyone have any experience of what happens next? I'm feeling really uncertain about the future. I really enjoy my job and am worrying myself sick that the consequence might be I don't have one anymore.

    Help appreciated,
    thank you.
