The good news
and the bad news
Looks quite spectacular though...
They're now saying dust could reach scotland by tuesday and france/spain by the end of the week. Yikes.
Ooh, I hope they don't close the M6 - I'm going to Cumbria next week.
I'm going to Sydney on Wednesday so I hope my flight gets off.
I don't want another fiasco like last time.
You lot are going to have to shape up.
Risk assessment and alternative travel plans on my desk Tuesday please.
Looks like the loonies were right after all. It's evidence of the end of the world, only it came a few hours late. Maybe God hasn't been setting his clocks correctly.
cyolba, now cheerfully planning to spend it all before Oct 21st
Earthquakes, and now the threat of an eruption on Mt Ruapehu here in NZ....uh-oh..you could be right...
Ta, Theo. I'm hoping if I get there I'll get back.
Ooooer. Hope flights aren't disrupted for a while Nutty. But hey - there are worse places to be stranded than Oz?
Mind you, my friend was stranded in the Azores at the time of the last dust cloud and having to book later flights and getting reimbursed for her 'stranded' expenses was a complete b.ugger.
So..cyolba..is October the next date for the rapture? I quite fancy a bit of rapture. Must remember to wear my best undies. Remind me nearer the time.
I thought that deportation was usually for life, nutty.
cyolba, justice of the peace
Nah, the rapture has happened. Looks like you're doomed. Six months of shit (earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, war, famine, pestilence (all of the horsemen, basically)) then it's like, death and eternity of hell, man.
