  5. My specialism is KS2.
I'm really looking forward to it but from what my friends say who have already done a PGCE, it sounds manic....no life for a year other than teaching related things.
Will be so worth it tho.
I wouldn't panic about the organising Jayne. It will all just fall in to place I'm sure [IMG]

  6. Hello :)
I just found out yesturday i have been accepted onto the Primary PGCE (Early Years) i had my interview on Friday 2nd March. Im so excited and cant wait to get started. See you all there !
  7. hey congratulations!!!!
I have just finished the PGCE EYFS primary at UEA - it's a really hard year but the tutors are amazing and it really is worth all the hard work! I start my first teaching job (one of my placement schools) in September - really really exciting!

    my top tips are:
start the A3 assignment asap Christmas comes round soooo fast and autumn is the heaviest term!
get books early - the library does not have enough copies! (i am selling the main reading list books if interested?)
make the most of your tutors - they are there to help you out and will support you
enjoy it as much as you can!

the placements are hard work but you get out what you put in - some people had better experiences than others but that could be down to personality and attitudes.

the assignments are quite intense and you don't get enough words to say what you want so be concise!!!!! and start early!!!
