TV - what options do I have for channels?

Discussion in 'Personal' started by JRTowner, Dec 3, 2011.

  1. I'm moving home very soon to a place where I can't get cable that means goodbye to Virgin tv. (Not quite - I could take on some company who work in partnership with Virgin but as they have hacked me off soooo much recently I want to have as little to do with that company as possible). Anyway, what are my choices for watchign TV?

I have got a freeview box but think the number of channels are a bit limited - is Topup TV any good? Are there cheap packages worth having with Sky? I have also looked at freesat but can't quite get my head around it.
So in a nut shell how can I watch trashy cable TV cheaply?

I have freeview and freesat.....this gives me well over 100 channels (in theory....but some of them are just the +1 versions of others). I still find myself resorting to DVDs as there is nothing worth watching.
