Tutoring whilst teaching

Discussion in 'Private tutors' started by slugtrial, Apr 26, 2012.

  1. In addition to the above:
You will need to provide details of your employed earnings when filling in the self-assessment form, so make sure you have your P60. Keep a record of your related expenses.
If you have been approached to do this work, then you have the basis of a good (very) small business that could earn some useful extra income. Be totally professional (like ensuring the tax issue is properly covered) and it could well build into something very worthwhile.

  2. Thanks for the replies, definitely something to think about should I go for it.
