Morning all! I'm taking on some private tuition for a student sitting their Spanish GCSE next May and wondered if anyone has any tips for 1-1 lessons? Used to being in front of 30 and not so used to tutoring so would like some suggestions for how people structure sessions and also how to make it a bit more engaging and interactive. Thanks!

I have laminated sheets of Blockbusters and Battleships for verb practice. I also use Tarsia Puzzles and Dominoes. Those are the 'fun' activities. When we're reviewing vocab for a particular topic, I print that section of the list from the exam board and we check which ones they already know, then for the next week I'll use the unknown vocab in reading texts, matching activities, listenings, translations (just sentences).

Thanks Ladyofrohan! Some good ideas I'll definitely try!
