We have a bilingual student doing GCSE in Y9, she will be doing iGCSE, which doesn't require any speaking assessment and hasn't got any controlled assessment, so from the administration point of view is really good. The reason we don't do it with all our pupils is because it's really difficult, but if your pupil is good and coached in exam techniques it's a good way of getting them the qualification without the complications.
