I am on supply at the minute. So I was thinking of doing some 1:1 tuition over the Easter holiday, as I won't be getting paid.
    I've
not done this from home before, I have done 1:1 at my old school after
school. Is it as simple as putting an advert in my local newsagents, on
gum tree etc and simply take on whoever contacts me? Or do I need to be
registered with an agency or something?

    Thanks in advance

There might be some home insurance or property deeds implications, ie you'd effectively be conducting business in a residential property, but as the previous poster suggests, the tutor forum will probably clarify that.
