Tudors Trip East Midlands

Discussion in 'School trips' started by beckysheen, Jun 2, 2011.

  1. Hi there,
I am looking for a Year 4 class trip based on the Tudors in the East Midlands. Has anyone been on one? Do you have any personal recommendations?

    Thank you so much,
    Bec

  3. I don't know if they still do it but Wollaton Hall near Nottingham used to do one.
I thought it was run well and the children loved it, dressed up, danced, looked at kitchens and made marchpane, compass work and eating in the great hall.
    Hope this helps.

Hardwick Hall - great tudor house built by Bess of Hardwick - Elizabeth Shrewsbury - who later built Chatsworth.
    Just off junction 29 (or 27) M1.
